This 2015 bass is modeled after Dee Dee’s P-bass kit. Great condition–and collectible.
Dee Dee Ramone (may he rest in peace) was one of the greatest rock bassists to ever grace the stage. I know cause I’ve seen him live in concert and been at the foot of the stage to hear him scream “1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4.” If you like a low slung P-bass for pure rock & roll, you can’t do much better than a bass modeled after Dee Dee’s own. Olympic white with maple neck, thin frets, and Dee Dee’s signature on the headstock. Doesn’t get much better than that. This bass has perhaps only a few hours playing time on it. Still has plastic on the pickguard (little worn), and still has plastic covering the pickups. No dings or scratches. Comes with original Fender deluxe gig bag and all case candy including, a detailed book with pictures and stories about Dee Dee, a poster, sticker, and Fender hangtag. Also comes with a D’Addario strap with locking/removable ends. This is the full package for a Dee Dee Ramone fan. Not many of these floating around due to a limited run. Grab it while you can. (Please note, the bass serial number does not match the one on the hangtag, so not sure if the tag is from another bass.) Thanks for looking!
